About

A one-person studio, on purpose

Coding Moon is run by one developer with eighteen years behind him — which means less overhead for you, and nobody between you and the person building your software.

Coding Moon is a one-person software studio based in Copenhagen. It is run by me, Mikkel Damm Vind, and it has been my company since 2018.

I am self-taught, and I have been building software for eighteen years — from large-scale booking platforms and cloud accounting to climate-tech and internal tools. Most of that time I have spent trying to make things both work well and look good. Most developers care about the code or the look; I try to care about both.

Because it is just me, you work directly with the person writing the code. No hand-offs, no account managers, no layer of people relaying your requirements to someone you never meet. That is the whole point of keeping the studio small.

A lot of how I build now is agentic — I lean on AI coding agents and tight feedback loops to move faster, while staying the person who understands and owns every line that ships. That is also why AI automation is something I sell: I use it daily, on my own work, and I know precisely where it holds up and where it does not.

More about me, personally

What the studio sells

Have something you want built?

Whether it’s a new product, a process you want automated, a prototype or an extra pair of hands on an existing codebase — I’d love to hear about it.
