Finding a decent playground nearby is a question every parent has and no service answers well. Municipal data is patchy and out of date, and the things that actually matter — is there shade, is it fenced, is it any good in the rain — are only known to the people who go there.
The approach
A community-driven map: the app ships with a base layer of playgrounds and lets families add, photograph and review the rest. One TypeScript codebase covers the Expo mobile app and the Next.js web app, which is what makes a product like this maintainable by one person.
