BIG — Bjarke Ingels Group

Website & internal tools for a world-renowned architecture firm

big.dk

The challenge

An architecture practice of BIG’s standing is judged on how its work looks online, and the site has to carry an enormous, constantly growing archive of projects, imagery and press without ever feeling slow or generic. Alongside the public site, the studio needed internal tools for the people who actually keep that archive current.

The approach

A Next.js front end built for image-heavy pages, paired with an editing experience the studio’s own staff can use without a developer in the loop. The internal tools were built against the same content model as the public site, so there is one source of truth rather than a website and a separate parallel system that drift apart.

Want something like this built?

Whether it’s a new product, a process you want automated, a prototype or an extra pair of hands on an existing codebase — I’d love to hear about it.
