Wishlists worth sharing

Shared wishlists have one genuinely hard requirement: the person who owns the list must not be able to see what has already been reserved, while everyone else must. Get that wrong and you have spoiled the surprise the product exists to protect.
The approach
Reservations are visible to everyone except the list owner, enforced server-side rather than hidden in the UI. Sharing works from a link with no account required for the people receiving it, because a gifting app that demands signups from grandparents does not get used.
